  Pagan Holidays........so what?

  so i was thinking about how jws tie holidays to paganistic roots (birthdays, x-mas, halloween) and it got me to thinking about these holidays today as opposed to when they were introduced.

  x-mas may have gotten its start in the catholic church and been all about jesus' birthday but it's a whole new breed of holiday today.

  it ain't about jesus or his birthday; it's about gift giving and togetherness with family and friends.

  i remember a website (teal background, simple set-up) that had an illustration of what you can expect when a dub visits you, as well as a number of informational things that the society would freak out about if they discovered dubs or people in general reading it.

  if it was freeminds, it doesn't have the same layout, so i'm not sure if it was that.

  does anyone know what webpage i'm talking about?

  often, when you have the unfortunate pleasure of talking (and by that i mean getting half a point out before they interrupt) with a dub about something that is taking place here and now, or when looking through the mike's hard lemonade wt, usually they'll say some crap about how some most heinous ancient history dudes handled the situation and say "that's just like today, we can trust that jehober will blah blah blah and other diarreah".

  but is it just like today?

  the bible is full of tales that seemingly are impossible without some outside interference.

  if you have your copy of the december 2010 asleep magazine entitled "the truth about christmas" i invite you to take a look at the subliminal messaging in the picture on page 7. if someone could scan it into this thread that would help too, but i'll be descriptive about what the picture entails.

  to make a good name, and all gods laws obey, (stop).

  whatever "laws" god supposedly made, we're supposed to take it on good authority that the wtbts out of everyone else is able to interpret what those laws are and are accurately giving us the definition of what that is.. .

  and how dubs can't watch rated r movies, i began thinking of what constitutes a movie being rated r?

  a movie doesn't need to have nudity, violence or other graphic imagery to get this rating.

  it would seem that all a movie needs........is swearing, vulgar language.
